College Football: National Signing Day

Stay tuned for updates throughout the day.

To tide you over, take a look at the list Rivals has of verbal commitments by CLICKING HERE.

Here is the list of signed recruits from the Texas State web site.

Here's a quote from new Texas State offensive line coach Dennis Darnell on his recruits — "We don't have any of what people call, 'hogs,' or those who just line up and can only run straight at you. We have some athletic kids with great strength backgrounds. We want to have the strongest line in the state. We're not there yet, but we will get there."

Here's a quote from new Texas State defensive coordinator Craig Naivar on the defensive recruits — "Tylond Robertson and David Mims really stood out to us on tape. Those guys have an immediate ‘It’ factor and speed off the edge but every single one of these guys can play."

Do you think Texas State will have any other commits in the next few days or do you think we're done?

Texas State might get two or three tomorrow depending on how things shake out. Not sure on names but there might be a few stragglers.

Tyler - first off great job. I hit the site daily and have been sending it to friends.

Next, do you have any idea how we did compared to UTSA and other teams in the WAC.

Finally, Tyler Arndt- Did they go after the O line to help Tyler there. I was trying to find out how often he was sacked etc..

Chris,

Thanks for checking in. I am putting together a comparison between what Texas State and some other schools did. Texas State recruited a bunch of O-linemen because five players will be seniors in 2011 and the Bobcats didn't have ANY depth at the position.
