Interesting how the WAC teams did. For the time Coach Fran and staff had to get these guys on board, I am impressed. OL and DL need help regardless if it was because Tstate will have 5 OL seniors next year or because we needed to upgrade the lines.

Do you have any idea the type of offense Coach Fran will use? He's been predominantly a running team with option over his tenure at TCU (Tomlinson), Alabama and A&M. Known to run some multiple offense styles. I hope he runs a more balanced offense than just the option game. I'm guessing he'll try an run a 4-3 defense (thin at LB though) with a lot of DBs on roster.

On offense, Franchione said he'll be running the spread. On defense, the Bobcats will be reverting back to the 4-2-5 with Naivar back.

Really... the spread. Since when does the spread offense have TE's? I'm guessing he'll still use multiple offensive formations as he's done everywhere he's been. The 4-2-5 makes sense with all the DBs on the roster.

That's what I was told, at least. A spread offense can still utilize a TE with only four WRs.
