College Football: Coaching Search Update (Part 7) — Results from B.O.R. Meeting

Basically, the Regents granted Texas State president Dr. Denise M. Trauth the ability to pursue the hiring of a new head football coach. Trauth was unable to move forward without this blessing.

The teleconference lasted all of 24 minutes and the next meeting was originally scheduled for Feb. 10-11.

Salary parameters weren't discussed and will be at the discretion of Trauth when a prospective candidate is offered the position.
