Recapping the Weekend

• Texas State scored 27 unanswered points to knock off No. 3 Stephen F. Austin on the road. The Bobcats were led by quarterback Tim Hawkins, who accounted for 315 yards of total offense and three touchdowns.
• Texas State hosted its first men's basketball scrimmage of the 2010-11 season as it defeat St. Edward's 84-66. Four Bobcats scored 10 or more points, led by Cameron Johnson's 15. Jonathan Sloan scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
