- In his opening statement — "When we held our meetings on Sunday, we showed our guys the tape of [Justin Garelick's] extra point hitting the upright last year and us running on their field. We told them, 'You can bet [Texas State head coach] Brad Wright is showing his team the same thing to get them fired up.'"
