- Texas State defensive coordinator Fred Bleil said Darryl Morris drew the duty of defending Southern Utah WR Tysson Poots Saturday night.
- Last season against the Bobcats, Poots caught 11 passes for 120 yards and one touchdown.
- Bleil said he feels using Morris, who is a physical defensive back, will help slow down Poots.
- Morris is 5-foot-10, 175 pounds while Poots is 6-foot-3, 220 pounds.
