As of right now, there isn't much news to report on the head coaching search at Texas State other than what we already know.
Former Texas A&M head coach Dennis Franchione and Oklahoma co-defensive coordinator Bobby Jack Wright and both very interested in the position and have been in contact with the Texas State Athletic Department.
Football Scoop reported yesterday that TCU special teams/tight ends coach Don Sharp is among the candidates for the job as well. We haven't been able to confirm or deny that yet.
