Analysis: Right off the bat, it looks like a decent schedule. Texas State faces a stiff challenge in its first game (Houston) and get three consecutive home games following its meeting with the Cougars. The Bobcats have a solid chance at going 3-1 before Southland Conference play, but Cal Poly had a rebuilding season in 2009 (so the Mustangs should be dangerous in 2010) and we all know how Texas State matches up with Southern Utah. The Bobcats don't have to travel to Nicholls and Northwestern State again, but they do have trips to Hammond, La. (Southeastern Louisiana) and Lake Charles, La. (McNeese State).
