College Football: Bobcats get graded

Dave Campbell's 2011 Texas Football magazine recently hit newsstands packed with scouting reports and projections for the upcoming college and high school football seasons.

For each Division I team in Texas, the magazine ranks the squad by position, assigning letter grades to each spot. Here is how the magazine graded Texas State...

Offensive Line: B-
Running Backs: B
Wide Receivers: B+
Quarterbacks: B+
Defensive Line: C+
Linebackers: A-
Secondary: B-
Special Teams: C

In comparison, take a look at how DCTF evaluated Texas-San Antonio...

Offensive Line: C
Running Backs: B
Wide Receivers: B
Quarterbacks: B
Defensive Line: B-
Linebackers: B
Secondary: B
Special Teams: C-

And what about Sam Houston State?

Offensive Line: B+
Running Backs: A-
Wide Receivers: B
Quarterbacks: B
Defensive Line: B
Linebackers: A-
Secondary: B-
Special Teams: A-

And just for kicks, Texas Tech...

Offensive Line: B
Running Backs: B-
Wide Receivers: C
Quarterbacks: C+
Defensive Line: C
Linebackers: C+
Secondary: B+
Special Teams: C+

As you can see, the Bobcats seem to be in good company when put on paper, but only time will tell how they look when they get on the field.
